There are three ways through which you can mark customers as inactive in AiTrillion. Inactive customers are those to whom you want to exclude from sending any future emails.
Note: Inactive customers are not charged by AiTrillion, however, if they make a purchase they become active customers again.
- Using bulk CSV import.
- Using domain suppression settings.
- Manually mark a customer inactive.
1. Using bulk CSV import to mark customers inactive
Step 1. Login to AiTrillion
Step 2. Go to Email Marketing > Contacts > Import CSV
Step 2. In your customer CSV file add a new column named “Is inactive”. In this column, type YES for every customer that you want to mark as inactive.

Step 3. Now Save the CSV file and import it. How to Import?
While importing CSV, map the “Is Inactive” column with the “Customer Inactive” field.

Once the process completes, you can check the inactive or active customer lists on the customer list page by applying the customer inactive filter.

2. Using domain suppression
You can easily mark customers inactive based on their domain in the email such as (@domain.com).
e.g. if you don’t want to send emails to all customers from (amazon.com) or (ebay.com). You can suppress (amazon.com) or (ebay.com) domains.
Step 1. Login to AiTrillion.
Step 2. Go to Email Marketing > Contacts > Domain Suppression
Step 3. Enter the domain you wish to suppress such as (amazon.com) or (ebay.com) and click on Save.

3. Manually mark a customer as inactive.
Step 1. Login to AiTrillion.
Step 2. Go to Email Marketing > Contacts > All Contacts
Step 3. Click on a Contact you wish to mark inactive.

Step 3. Click on the Active button to toggle it to inactive.
