Custom Discount Code Prefix & Fairer Point Adjustments with Order Refunds In Loyalty.

We’ve introduced two important enhancements to the AiTrillion Loyalty module, based on direct feedback from our merchants. These updates give you better branding control and ensure fair, accurate loyalty point adjustments—helping you deliver a more transparent and trustworthy loyalty experience to your customers.

🎟️ Custom Brand Prefix for Loyalty Discount Codes

Earlier, loyalty discount codes generated by the system used a fixed prefix (AIO). Many merchants requested the ability to align these codes with their own brand naming.

You can now define a custom prefix for loyalty discount codes using a new setting in the loyalty configuration. This allows your discount codes to reflect your brand identity and remain consistent with other promotions running in your store.

This improvement gives you greater flexibility and helps maintain a clean, professional, and recognisable discount structure across all customer touchpoints.

🔄 More Accurate Loyalty Point Revert for Partial Refunds

We’ve made a smart enhancement to how loyalty points are adjusted when partial refunds are issued.

Previously, if an order received a partial refund, the system would deduct all loyalty points earned for that order, even if only a portion of the order was refunded. This could result in customers losing more points than expected.

With this update, loyalty points are now deducted proportionally based on the refunded amount, ensuring fair and precise point adjustments.

Example:
If a customer places an order worth $100 and earns 100 loyalty points, and later receives a partial refund of $40, the system will now deduct only 40 points. The remaining 60 points stay with the customer for the non-refunded portion of the order.

✅ Why This Matters

These updates improve both brand consistency and customer trust:

  • Loyalty points are now adjusted more accurately for partial refunds
  • Customers experience fair and transparent reward handling
  • No manual calculations or corrections are required
  • Loyalty data becomes more reliable for reporting and campaigns

This enhancement applies automatically to all future orders—no additional setup is needed.

Together, these improvements make your loyalty program more flexible, more accurate, and more customer-friendly, while reducing operational effort for your team.
